I got some plastic weld rods so ill try it myself. If i fail its an excuse to buy a new kayak.

I mostly go to La jolla. But somtimes I launch out of Dana point for a change of pace. or Oceanside

OR... you could go to the MLPA fundraiser next Saturday and bid on one of the kayaks that will be up for auction. You would probably get a great deal and all the proceeds will be going to a very important cause.

I think I might have seen ya at Dana! It's not a hard fix just take your time. you can buy a torch that has a tip for fixing this at wal-mart. small hand held, It works great. I found that if you melt shavings and slowly work a small pool you'll get a better weld. good luck!
