Golf cart test drive 5-29-09
trolled along the kelp edge to way past the point and back for 4 hrs for nada.Launched iron into what looked like nervous bait but got the same results. Mostly a test drive,it seems very stable side to side and I can stand up well. It should be fun Weather turned to crap soon after launching.wind, mist etc. 99" of fun and I can throw it in and out of my truck...

Thats a pretty neat set up you've got. I saw you cruise on by today, it seemed pretty quick for a little dinghy. I was in the tan Hobie Revolution with a red paddle jacket.

The Calico fishing was a lot of fun yesterday. I caught about 10 checkerboards. The fun finally ended when I ran out of swimbaits though.

Its a hoot.I wish it was 1ft longer. Its a pearl waiting to happen.I figure I can always bring the yak too as plan B if the surf doesnt look doable.I am buying an alternator kit for my OB to run electronics.I got the boat for free basically and I am just having fun with it.
I wont waste anyones time posting about my little skiff anymore unless I actually catch something noteworthy.I live 110 miles from LJ so I dont go there to fish for bass,I do that in NPH on my big game.I am starting a job at scripps hospital(Cabinet installation)in the fall.It will be a 1 year job.I am going to fish my ass off as I will be staying locally with nothing to do after work except drink beer.
