Very comfortable, even with my PFD on. http://www.surftosummit.com/gts-pro-...mhmbbh7mromcm0 I had the taller STS seat before and couldn't get comfortable with my PFD on. I added the water bottle pack a month after I bought the seat. Nice to have, but not necessary. Jason
