Shorty - hate to say it but I think there is a perception that white sharks are all over the coasts of Australia. But reading these few posts along with the links, they make it sound like they are somewhat uncommon. Is this true? We had a swimmer attacked locally in Solana Beach which was extremely rare, we had never really had a documented attack in San Diego before. If it happened in Northern California, no one would have thought twice about it. But I always assumed that white sharks were everywhere in Australia.

Fairly uncommon for folks to be attacked ,,about every 4 years in Western Australia i guess,,i think the "Men in White" stick to the lower half of Australia being they like the colder water,,,,,,,,,,,

Tiger sharks on the other hand are all around Australia and have a nasty bite as well,,,,,,,,,,
