Roughing it in the Eastern Sierras - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

It has been another fantastic summer up north. Broke my Trout PB two days in a row 6.5 then 6.8 lbs. Best for the group was 7.1lbs Everyone in the group caught a fish over 5lbs.
All the fish were caught on the HookUp 1/32 and 1/16 baits ��
The water is really low at Silver Lake and the creeks are barely flowing.
The fish are deep now and the water is really warm 64 to 67 degrees in August. Looking forward to my last trip mid September.

The Crawdads were really crawling with all that warm water.
Love those Louisiana style boils.
