On alot of great meet-ups.....I was going thru the worst turmoil of my life....I did catch the tail end tho.
I was like the high banks drifter that came in, at the end.

Two products I used to restore my cork grips
Filler and sealer.

You want to have the vacuum ready
To clean up the mess
Had to spin motor wide open to sand....
Slow was wobbly and fast as my motor would spin was smooth. You might say I put the wood to it....
I used alot of filler....one time got er done.

To do....1in strip sand paper work good

After drying over night
And sanding I vacuumed up the mess before applying sealer.
One time with the filler got er done

Good thing I did not....
Destroy my rubber finish ring at the end there is nothing I could replace it with.

Thanks for sharing the video. I caught the tail end of the kayaking events. I got to enjoy kayak fishing after the worst turmoil of my life and yes jail time served. Followed by some major surgery.
