Wow, nice catch. That sure beats a Calico for pull and you got a sleigh ride too. Congrats, Jonathan.

Lots of fine action! That Corvina looks like a White Sea Bass to me, regardless, an awesome catch! Congrats!

There is much skill displayed here. Such a big fish on such light tackle. Felicidades a Juan. Carlos, I hope to fish Ensenda one day, perhaps this year. I hope I meet you there. I have enjoyed your vids on YouTube. Salud.

Great fishing, nice catch on a baitcaster - "White Seabass" as we call them here in California.

Awesome catch!! I'd love to do some fishing down that way some time. Used to stay in a place at Nueva Espana all the time growing up. Would probably like to just camp somewhere instead! Know of any campsites that would be nice and safe for someone who's Spanish is about 2/10?

You can go to la Jolla... yes sir we do also have our own "La Jolla", you can camp there, and you can pedal towards the islands we have there ( towards la bufadora direction)
You will catch calico bass,WSB, YT, halibut... etc hope this works for you
Cheers.

Very Nice! Definitely a California White Seabass. You can tell by the ridge along the bottom center of the fish.
