Haven't launched out from the boat ram recently but you can always launch out of bayside park. Just have to drag your kayak over the grass/sand a little ways.

I am going to be staying at north mission bay beach for a few days next month. Never fished the Bay. I would be grateful if anyone can provide some tips on where to go and best methods for catching a few fish. Many thanks!

Find the eel grass beds, find the fish.
Be sure to use a weedless swim bait that you can keep in or very near the bottom. Focus on pulling the swim bait through the grass.
