Was out there myself with some buddies in the same area, saw bait crashing all around us. Pulled in my first Bonita of the year, he was a runt so I let him go back to fight another day. The conditions were so nice I ended up staying on the water longer than I normally do, and boy was that a mistake. The hordes of un-masked googans all over the hand launch 🤬. At least my buddies and I all ended our day with some nice fat sheepsheads. Next time I stick to getting off the water before noon.
