Lowrance hook 2 7” - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Man it's too bad Lowrance entry level is really falling off. Their old elite HDI models were so rock-soild, bulletproof units that just sipped the amps. The early hook series was legit still, but starting with hook 2 they really went downhill. If you are looking for that entry level 7" unit around 300$ I would recommend the Garmin Striker series they seem pretty solid though I don't have that much experience with them personally.

Thank you for your reply! I’m not sure how their transducer will fit in my lowrance ready outback. But definitely look into that option as well!

I think the skimmer mount can be easily adapted. Let us know what you end up doing!

BerleyPro.com has conversions I believe for most of the FF transducer covers.

Worth a shot at least!
