Red tide?

How are things looking for the weekend? Tuesday it looked like it was randomly clear in the La Jolla area but still mostly muddy water.

My surfing buddy said it looked bad again yesterday.

I was out today. No YT but lots of bait. Patches of greenish water with about 5 foot vis. Other patches are chocolate milk with zero vis. Conditions looked pretty decent this morning, however there was some CRUNCHY shorebreak at the launch. Surf looks to be holding through the weekend.

Surf tomorrow forecast at 3.2 feet at 8 second intervals out of the west 274 deg. In laymans terms, this means chocolate glowing poo barrels for everyone.

Go gettem!
