San Diego Beaches to remain open.
Kevin Faulconer ✔ @Kevin_Faulconer Great news: the Governor heard us. San Diego beaches WILL STAY OPEN under our plan approved by lifeguards and health officials. In a time of great crisis we don't need knee-jerk policies. We need to keep a steady hand. It’s the only way to keep the public’s trust. Keep it up, SD! 1,242 12:32 PM - Apr 30, 2020 Sorry O.C. SWEET! I thought yesterday was it and another long wait, till we could go out again. Glad that some people can use a little common sense, especially in these times.

This is great news. I am trying to find a good spot to go kayak this weekend. I was hoping to hear some Orange County news, but it sounds like most, if not, the beaches there are closed. Anyone know a good spot to park and launch for Orange County right now?
