Anyone knows what went with this story?

I assume there were no loses since we didn't see news updates.

Your local coast guard station or the auxiliary has decals you can put in your yak that has name phone # etc... Everyone should do this and they're free. Stick it under a hatch or where someone can find it without too much trouble.
