Got out to the jewel for the gray bite.
We showed not the fish! Bounced around
Northwest corner, condo, outside inside, nada
Made Spanish, couple of weird looking sardines
Couple 2-3# greenbacks! That’s it! More yakers
Out then PBers. 64 water temp and good color.
Paying dues

?? Hey Andy, we used to get/catch herring
back in the day! Queen fish, brown bait call it
what you will. These looked like a dine, with
A large eye and all silver!! Is it a true herring?
They rolled right away in the tank.

Yes, true Herring. They were out there in huge schools today. Size of good sized mackerel. Great bait to fish, but not for the tank. From sabiki to hook. Lots more bait out there today too (at least where I was).
