Yep, we freeze all our meat trash. Whether fish carcass or turkey carcass. The fish guts, heads, etc, that I get during the year, all get shoved into small ziplock bags, and sandwich sized tupperwares. Then frozen until lobster season. Peel off the ziplock and slide the block of frozen chum directly into the bait cage.

Or pack it into the bait cage before you put it in the freezer

All of the above, and parcel up the roe sacks for bait chum. They work very well!

Really nice catch and story. Thanks for sharing. At first I tried burying carcass in backyard but the raccoons and coyotes just dug it up! A buddy says he goes to the grocery store bins at night but I decided to freeze and put in trash later. Im sure the neighbors appreciate it.
