9/24 makin' do in the OC

perfect morning. Threw f/f shad for nothing but pencil cuda. Threw the wham for short bites. Hot ticket was the buttered up 4in BH on a red head. Called Clay, Chris and Steve yesterday.......Steve showed up.....no excuse as it is his backyard Left him out there........hated to leave.......way too nice to go to work

Looks like a great time Andy. Awesome pics and that checker pic is excellent. And I agree....It's tough to leave the water to go to work. However, work is what enables us to fish. That's how I look at it.

Went out off Dana this AM. Lots bait, localized flurries of bass, with feeding threshers around. Pretty weird fishing for bass and getting ripped now and then by threshers.

Very active out there, and FYI the bug bait are HUGE!

What a difference a day makes



Its been a tough month fishing for me a real stuggle to catch legal fish. The fog rolled in this morning and started out my day with 2 more nice size johnny bass then I broke the drought


14" Sandie


15" Calico.

The bite has been early and no more fish after 9 so back home at 10

Good to have the skunk off!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to see you went back and found em. fog today has been rolling in intermittently and sucks! I am bringing a stick buggin tomorrow night......so look out.......and butter it up!
