Makobob UPDATE 10 May 2018

Robert Moore
Just now
Post amputation day 75 is TOMORROW. Here is the update. Wound Doctors visit today. He is smiling
and stated it is coming along at a steady pace. Again today he debrided the wound, down to pink,
bloody meat. After dressing the wound he prescribed oral antibiotics to kill the minor staff infection
growing on the wound.

He wanted the antibiotics to end after a week, and told me to take my Baja trip on the 20-28th. He will
again look at the wound on the 17th and then not until after my Baja trip on the 31st of May. He did
remind my to use lots of sun protection because the antibiotics make us super sensitive to the sun.

This was GREAT news for me as I have his blessings to do the trip. Baja here I come. Watch out fish.
One legged fisherman headed your way. It will be so much fun to be in camp with the guys again.
Tight Lines amigos. Hope to sea you all there.

Rear view mirror, can do.

It was not easy loosing the first two toes and then the foot to diabetes. And at almost 70 there is much LOST time with the healing process. So as the time to a healed stump approaches I look FORWARD to moore Baja time.

In about a week, I will fish out of a tin boat, and at least a few hours out of a kayak. I will crawl to the water if I have to, but I will yak and fish. I WILL LIVE what is left of my life to it's fullest.

I live the life I LOVE, and I love the life I live! And I hope youall are also living your life to its LIMITS. You only live ONCE, so live it like you mean it.
