Finally got one!”
New to Kayak fishing but not to bass fishing, and a happy owner of a new PA12! Have her all set up, PFD, Cart, FF, rod holders, and live well. Took it out for a shakedown session. The boat is so comfy and stable, almost like sitting in a lawn chair😃 For the most part I spent the day playing with the sonar and getting used to peddling and the way it handles. But it wouldn’t have been any good if I didn’t soak a line for an hour or two. I managed a pencil stick barracuda and a nice 16” sand bass. Mission accomplished , on to bigger and better adventures! Hope to fish the Mission bay classic next weekend! |

congratulations on your new yak. Consider this an invitation to come to the Mission Bay Classic next Saturday at the OEX mission bay. Come out and meet the other kayak fishermen and check out how they have their kayaks rigged. You will come away with a lot of ideas and have a great time. Hope to see you there.
