Quick trip to MDR reefs
Hooked up on the first drop and the bite continued for about an hour or so. Lots of bait out there. Ended up with 7 Calicos - released . 2 of them were fat 20 inchers. All fish caught on 3/4 oz. underspin in redneck shad. Swell started building so I called it a day. Back to the launch by 10. |

I really need to try MDR but yeah those reefs lol. LBC had garbage everywhere so I hit the islands for a couple small bass. time to research to find those reefs. Nice catch and release.

I'm typically out on the water right at safelight, but almost never can get myself back in before 3ish.
I do that whole "ok, last cast" dance for about an hour and a half before finally giving into reality. LOL |

Thanks guys.
Glad I decided to take advantage of that break in the wind and swell and the fish cooperated. It's a lot different out there today. |
