A hobie... finally
Anyone interested teaming up tomorrow and maybe searching for some halibut either in LJ or SD bay? I don’t have my fish finder just yet so if you do, great! |

I’m planning on going out tomorrow morning. Was thinking about La Jolla, but I could just as easily enjoy the bay. I just so happen to have a newly-rigged fishfinder (only used it once so far) but don’t yet have a livewell, and here you are with a livewell but no fishfinder |

Congrats on the upgrade. Being able to fish and paddle at the same time is the best part!

I went out with mattamatta and had a decent day. Peddling instead of fishing was absolutely an upgrade. There will be some things I need to get used to but I don’t think I can ever go back. Caught a 6-7’ soupfin with a smelt dropper looped in the bottom with a heavy torpedo. The tiny barracuda and calicos were on the chew.
