HH 1-12-2018

Don had a really good day in HH yesterday so today was my turn.
I landed less then 1/2 of Dons number but I was happy with the size and the 2 doubles.
First Fish.

My competition and my only companion.

8 fish landed 2 doubles of good size 2 long line releases.

A great day on the water.

Nice fish.
I've wanted to try HH for a while. Where do you launch from? I can see on the satellite map a boat launch close to the PCH bridge but I think it's a military base there. Doesn't look like it's completely fenced off though.
Other sites have posted good quality leopard sharks caught from there too.

I park just out side of the boat launch and wheel the kayak over to the boat ramp and launch there. Sunset aquatic park. free parking no launch fee.

Take Edinger to Countess and you can launch about 10 feet from your ride if you get a good spot.
