How to get the freshest prawns, Baja style....

After scoping out a few dive spots at the islands (murky opaque green) we called it early and decided to get some dinner direct from the source. Came out to about 9 bucks a pound.

Reminds me of a trip long ago when the road was real bumpy still and one of the guys bought some Geoduck clams from the commercial pangas sharing the beach we camped at...........I was like WTF is that?

Thats awesome - so how much did they want for that big bag of shrimp?
I was looking for the shrimp guys in San Felipe when I left, but none were out. Did find the Honey Man though...

20/kilo and that was 6.6 kilos. The extra was on them lol. We each took two kilos. 120 total

How cool is that. Wish they would have stayed longer in the bay. Dave went out and they wouldn't sell any because the Captain was sleeping. They said they were going to be there until the next morning but when we got up they were gone. Next time I am going to run them down if I have to.
