Whoops, won't feed the seals again guys! We caught a smaller bonito, it was bleeding and threw it back, instantly a seal zipped over and caught it, so it was a semi-intentional feeding.
Anyways, It was a great time. 2nd Time kayak fishing - ever. Yes it is a 2011 hobie outfitter. |

Yes, best way to get the salt off the lens. You will notice some shots are sort of blurry/cloudy, this is from a thin layer of salt/sunscreen on the lens.

Oh but if some kook at the launch calls your yellowtail a tuna, I bet you love that. I never said it was a good idea to feed them, I merely suggest that the internet not dogpile on this poor bastard in one of his first posts. Especially when they are out there having 10 times more fun than all the grumpy old "locals" in ProAnglers. |

Awsome Video...
I seriously watched that twice and was cracking up. Keep them coming!
Nice Catch. I still haven't worked up the courage to try bonito. Maybe next time, I will bleed and ice one. And yeah, lets go easy with the Bloody Deck-ish posts. |

I don't know what was more humorous the video or the peanut gallery on the form. Good action all the way around!

My cat is just stupid for fish too. The second I open the door with fish she's buzzing around me like a fly. Your cat scored big time. Mike

Jlabs63, no courage needed about bonito. Just bleed em and keep them cool and they'll good. I've eaten bonito BBQ-ed, smoked, seared, civeche, poki, even sushi.
I caught one yesterday and made a big batch of "tuna" salad. My wife and kids destroyed it. Mike |
