I used it with a shimano Calcutta 400, and the new tranx 300
And it work perfect I did got some tunas with this set up.

So, what's the action like? Fast, slow, parabolic? Got a lot of backbone or is it a noodle?

It doesn't say it if it is fast or slow action,
but I do remembered they told me that it
has a lot of backbone if this help you can
