There is a very long jetty if you are looking for rock piles on both side.

Live bait pen maybe open. Not much kelp paddy if I recall. Occasionally (rarely) the bubble hole in next to the pier may be working, it attracts bonito and yellowtail due to warmer water.

Swimbait, squid and live bait are good choice for bass. Lures for bonito.

All day parking for $2.00 with validation from the baitshop on the pier. $1.00 for 2 hours from the Polly's on the Pier restaurant. Good food, but cash only at the restaurant. They close at 2:00 PM.


As to paddling to the PV, it depends on your ability and the conditions at the time. It is certainly doable.
