HALIBUT TOURNEY San Quintin 24 June 2017

4th ANNUAL San Quintin HALIBUT Tourney. To be held the day after my 69th Birthday. So I will be hosting a SEA FOOD party the night before at Don Eddies. Fresh Fish, and Shrimp, hopefully Clams and Oysters will be served............................................ ............ The party will be open to those with paid reservations to fish the Tournament. This will be coupled to few days at our place in Gonzaga after the Tourney. Hope to see YOU there. More to follow in the coming months. NO PRESENTS PLEASE. Cost is $25.00 per fisherman, 100% returned to winners.

I'm updating my calendars at work, and want to put this back on every ones radar - this year in a Solo Skiff!!

Looks like the way the dates are falling so far I'm going to miss a bunch of shooting matches - the Solo Skiff has me pretty excited...

Bob is this an "official-ish" event, or just a jamboree for your B-day? How shall I pre-pay for my entry?

We have done this 4 years now, very small event but everyone who has done it has had fun. We catch a few butts then go elsewhere for a few days fishing, this year after the tournament we will head for Gonzaga or Punta Baja. PAY at the tourney at the dinner the night before.....appears there will be 10+ locals with the home field advantage, so come loaded for butt. Cost is $25 per entry. Rossman did good on GULP fake grubs last year. I an guessing there should be around $400 up for grabs, Longest butt wins. Tight Lines amigos. The mexican turist people will be there so I guess it is OFFICIAL.
