Just a heads up. With all the weather blasting the sierras this week, we could have a year where the lakes on the Mammoth loop don't ice out until late July. It had happened before to me on a trip I planed on the 4th of July about 5 years ago. Yosemite won't have that problem.

I have had years where Rock Creek Lake still had ice on July 4th weekend but I think June Lake is usually clear by the trout opener
