FYI on spam bots
We recently upgraded the board to the latest and greatest, but it looks like some of these spammers are pretty sophisticated - they kept their Motorola/iPhones pitch strong. We just changed registration process to use a new account verification method, so hopefully this will stop them. This ought to work if we're dealing with spam-bots. There's really no automated way to stop a real human to post a spam. These have to be dealt with manually. BWE has a 0 spam tolerance policy. Their posts will be deleted, their IP address banned. If you do see a spam post, please do not go to any links that may be in the post. Please report the spam post by clicking the "Report a post" in the left hand side pane under user name: Email will be sent to Moderators, and we'll hop on it. THANKS!!! |

real one.
But the spam posts seem real too, despite the tweaks. We'll give it some time, it could be that this last bot registered before we made the change. Thanks for reporting guys! |
