Handheld GPS suggestions?
I have an Elite 4 HDI at the moment, but I'd rather not part with it and re-rig with a more fancy FF. It seems like the option with less fuss is to get a handheld gps. They do seem like it would be more costly to invest in vs. getting a multi-purpose unit. Thanks. Last edited by King Saba; 06-18-2016 at 04:52 PM. |

GArmin 76cx? Make me an offer. Handheld GPS, in perfect shape, takes 2 AA batteries.

Doesn't your Elite-4 HDI have GPS? My Mark-4 HDI does. Why not use it?

Yeah, but at best I get 2.5hrs of use before my phone dies. Plus, I found out my waterproof case has a tiny leak. Luckily I found out after I got off the water.
That's the thing. I have a stand alone FF, no GPS. Didn't have the $$$ at the time to get the full combo. |
