I bought my 6v batteries from amazon. ..you will find several with hundreds of reviews. $20 or less.

I tried tapping into one 6v to run both ff and pump...didn't get enough hours of fishing.

Many use 6v for the livewell to slow the pump down so the bait won't tire in current. ..adjust your aerator accordingly regardless so it's not blasting them.

Use the current amperage fuse in line recommended by your fishfinder. ..pumps are usually the same but it's arguable.

Besides protecting your electronics the fuse may prevent an electrical fire during overcurrent conditions...fuse will open the source from the load.
