I went by the launch at lunchtime. Very windy and some rain, but the surf wasn't bad. Down at the pier it was a different story....

I've been on Surfline for over an hour trying to get a little useful info, calling friends that live on the sand and are too lazy to look out the window (just as useful info). Surfline report : terrible unsurfable conditions, go ahead and find something else to do, and poor water quality. I check here and all my questions are answered, thanks Doug, in ten minutes my day will improve dramatically (thumpy beachbreak, with stiff offshore wind ).

I just consulted the tide charts. Today and tomorrow slow moving tides. Looks more like a day to be in the garage working on kayak modifications and gear maintenance.
