What's the word on threshers?

So anyone have any info on these beasts? Where they are biting, depth, size all that sort of stuff? Thank you

Threshers follow bait and water conditions like many predators. They tend to like cooler greener water, not the warm and clear conditions we've had this year. I'd guess most have moved north. The stock spots for threshers tend to be near shore canyons like off Blacks beach, teramar point in Carlsbad, and off Dana to Newport. They will bite big trolling plugs but live macs ate usually the way to go. Mike
