I just picked this kayak from a member here. A 2013 model with V2 Mirage Drive.  I need to get some overdue service done on the 4Runner before the trip. The Engine Check light came on before getting home tonight. It needs to be remedied as well. Two questions: 1-If we leave Baja on the 2nd, which means spending the New Year’s Day packing as well as crossing the border on Saturday. However, if we leave on the 4th, it will be Monday and maybe less traffic at the border. I will go with the caravan, any day it is decided, so I am just asking. 2-My yearly fishing license should be in effect, but how about my FMM? Count me in...I will meet you guys in Calexico at the AM/PM. Will be going for the weekend only, planning to head back Monday, maybe Tuesday. As for cooking i can cook carne asada with all the trimmimgs, the day we get there.

NO WORRIES SIR. In the past TWO years every trip has happened on schedule. EVEN when they removed my toe the trip was on schedule. You are confirmed to attend for a few days. WELCOME ABOARD.
