scrap material in San Diego?

Anyone have a strip of kayak material located in San Diego? Need to fix a small crack before I take the yak out again. Color doesn't really matter, but orange would be nice Couple bucks sound fair? Or a cold Ninkasi?

I don't know if this is true but I believe someone once said that the material from a gallon of milk works just fine.

I think any plastic with the HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) logo can be used?

Yea, only plastic number "2" is HDPE. Other numbers mean other plastics. Search "plastic recycling symbols".
