epoxy and a couple zip ties to hold it tight until it dries. But I would definitely hit up the manufacturer. If not covered then maybe they will repair for a nominal cost. I would not want to take too much risk with my means of propulsion.

I wouldn't tell COD that you got it from someone else. Just tell them you lost the receipt.
