Are you going to fish in HI, Chris? Pulling some of those big ones there
would be cool.

I will be spearfishing, and kayak fishing, my cousin lives on Kaui, and has a prowler, and scupper pro. I'll be bummed to miss BWE tourney, and it will be another year, before I can take my title back... But Hawaii is a nice consolation.

It's great to be able to combine two great events like this. I think this will really help the seabass derby increase their numbers & bring in more cash to support the restocking project. SD Oceans is a great organization with seabass growout pens in Mission & Sand Diego bays. They are always looking for more volunteers to do daily maintenance & feeding, so if you're looking to increase your seabass mojo checkout their website, www.sdoceans.org, & sign up to volunteer. Or if your time is limited just sign up for the tourney & the $30 donation will help out alot. These folks are doing a great job to rebuild and sustain the socal white seabass fishery so they definitely deserve our support.

Sorry you can't make it Chris, but I don't think you'll be too bummed. Go catch an Ulua.
