Very sad, my bet is gws, I was there, very sad. I guess this group swims there every fri at 6:30... I was about to surf when I saw the guards rushing the beach... beach breaks looked fun, so I paddled anyways, felt pretty sharky.

The shark risk is always there, Its very sad it happend to such a nice person. I still feel safer in the water than on the freeway, and if you would like to try one of my homemade omelets I will serve it up ranchero style if you like.

Thank you to the lifeguards who helped, it was a day they will remember.

Very sad and a good reminder to everyone that on or in the water, you're just bait to the right fish. But I gotta say, I've always thought those people that swim at dusk or dawn are really increasing their chances of the worst happening.

NS, I see them swimming the bouy line wearing like a black full body suit with skin tight black hoodies. I always thought they look like seals and were alittle nuts to be in there like that. Kinda reminded me of those fake seals they troll for GW research. Poor dude, prayers were said at the dinner table tonight for him.
