New guy saying hi! - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Hey everyone, I figured I should make my first post an introduction post. I currently have a kayak currently in transit and can't wait until it arrives. I'm hoping to take it out to Tidelands Park and practicing some tipping/self-rescue drills since I have no experience fishing from a yak.

I decided to go with:
Ocean Kayak Big Game 2
Werner Skagit paddle
Stohlquist Fisherman PFD

Let the accessory buying begin!

I see some of the events going on posted on SDFish. I'll be looking forward to meeting some of you guys in the near future.
