They dont have to fish LJ, they hit these fish with nets in TJ as the migrate.

the squid boats have no bycatch . also the bait boats operate at night a lot of the time.


WSB seems to be one of the few healthy fisheries. Based on anecdotal evidence the fish have been getting bigger since the gill nets were banned within three miles.
