Bigger handle, way bigger star for the drag. I also don't like that the cast control is inside on the okuma. The Lexa dial is external, which is much more easier for adjustments. If you have smaller hands though, the okuma feels more ergonomic.
Ok so the lexa 400 would be a more powerful reel than the okuma komodo in your opinion? Would you say that the komodo is about as strong as the lexa 300?

Ok looking at the specs it appears that the komodo fits between the Lexa 300 and 400 in line capacity.

I don't have the komodo, but the citrix is the same size I believe. They technically have the same drag output, but the heavier duty lexa does give me confidence in wrestling a yt. Haven't caught one on the citrix yet, so I can't give a fair comparison. uploadfromtaptalk1434516547682.jpg

The citrix and komodo have 150 yards of 20 lb. mono

The lexa 400 can hold 190 yds. of 20 lb.mono

Lexa 300 20/120 yds.

When I bought my lexa, the tackle shop put on 65lb super slick about 220 yards. Loaded my citrix myself with about 200 yards of 50lb green power pro.

Was checking out okuma 's instagram and saw this

Abu Garcia TORO NACL 60 all the way. I love that reel, nice for tossing surface iron.

How large is the NACL 60 compared to the size of the Lexa 400?

Nice shot. I wonder what rating that rod was and how big that yellowtail was?
