Where's Iceman when I need him?

Caught a nice yellow in North County last weekend--who didn't. Once I got on the beach, the sun was setting with a beautiful light. Wish Iceman were there--he takes great pics. Wish I had a better camera and better skills.

The swamis SMCA is not very large. A couple mile pedal to the south from where he launched near the lagoon and you are good to go! Shit did I just tell everyone where this guy was fishing? Do not worry Sabiki, no pro angler would be able to launch here anyways. That is 50% of kayak fishermen!

Yep--you see how wet I am, it's a 50/50 shot of landing dry where I launch from. The Swamis SMCA locked up one of the best halibut spots around.

Nice catch sir! One of my favorite places to catch waves on my stand up. I think next time I'll just keep paddling with my rod and reel.

Andy, please post when your fish weigh-in is going to be. Is this going to be a tournament? Sounds like that would be a lot of fun!

Nice fish!

I did that launch a few times. Never any problems. Mostly seabass hunting. Little catching.
