Off of lurker mode

Still haven't got a nice big fish to post as my profile pic like most of u guys but I'll post this smaller of 2 goats that I got in Newport last Sunday. It was 18" the other one was not measured but was 22-24" great day out with Kevin, john, and Jesse besides a little "accident" I had. Oh and just upgraded from a 2010 outback to a 2014 with a Hobie tank and for some reason it feels much faster with less effort.... Anyone k ow of any hull changes maybe?

Yeah, sorry to hear about that accident bro! Let's just do some diving, the harbor right there is only like 10-15 feet deep!

You guys cleaned up for sure! I did the worst with only 2 reds. Those sheepshead were pretty big, the pictures just don't do justice.

Should've seen the one pile John put us on, he had a double (lingcod/ sheepshead), and I hit a red, all bit simultaneously. Wonder if I would've done better by you guys.

Either way, it was definitely better than last outing for sure. Good times Jaime!

I marked a waypoint too... It was 22ft though... I can't dive that deep.... Best I ever did back at the pool was 16 at the deep end... It probably got dragged away by the tide

That was a fun trip. I found a couple of nice rock piles. The bite shut down around 10AM.

I got a lecture from a meter maid for loading my kayak at Kids beach. If you are lunching from Kids beach be sure you do not spend too much time loading your yak in the red. Luckily I did not get a ticket.
