I hated the stock base and ram mount setup so fabricated an alum backplate with spacer standoffs and mounted a stock ram to that works great |

Looks like it lines up on the old Eagle/Pirahana mount, hangs over a bit, but works!

Wow, never even realized that the swivel ball on the stock base mount was the same 1" RAM ball, just mounts to the head unit
