WOW that's a pig. No puedo esperar para pescar alli!!!

Recreational take of any marine invertebrate is illegal in Mexico. Including squid.

Is that for gringos or everyone? I think the same rule applies for class and mussels also, but only for on residents.

I know that the local cooperatives are the ones who enforce the regs, and they call the cops on offenders. They're the ones with "la vigilencia" on the side of their trucks and usually a big VHF radio antenna. I'm sure if you're a local they wont enforce the regs, but as far as I know it applies to all recreational fisherman. It never hurts to go talk to the pangeros and ask them whats up with a particular species.

I'm just messing with Rossman and this thread. I know the law down there. I have never caught, speared or netted bugs in baja...on the Gulf or Pacific side... Jim
