Rockfish are closed right now. The season does not start till April. You will want to get a FishFinder with GPS to mark the rock piles and find the right depth. When you are out in open water its a little to spot the piles
 Later in April you are more than welcome to join me out at Newport Beach, I have a few a good rock piles marked out.
