What type of kayak? And are you trying to use the same battery for both? If so a junction box or maybe a connector that Y's off each battery terminal. Do you already have the battery? I think it would need to be rather high aH to run both the FF and livewell for a long day.

It's a Stealth 14, I do plan on using one battery to power both units. I bought a high amp battery (12V 7AH) to battery to power the units. Hopefuly it's enough I'll look into that junction box. |

Something like this would do. You could even add lights or anything else down the road by just running my wires into your Block.
http://www.westmarine.com/buy/sierra...ang-6--4629077 This could be another solution. http://www.autozone.com/ignition/ele...al/510827_0_0/ Just make sure whatever you decide to get some marine grade shrink tubing. Harbor freight has a good deal on a box of that stuff. Dielectric grease should also be used to prevent any corrosion. Let us know how it ended up coming out. |

Forgot to add make sure everything is fused properly. Don't want to burn anything up.

7AH to power a tank and a FF....not too much capacity there.....unless the ff is a "tiny unit"
![]() Get a battery with more AH...maybe a 12? |

That is what I do. If larger surf, I will clip it to the scupper.
