I'll be launching at either la Jolla or shelter island around 6 depending on how the waves look at the launch

If I don't get called into work, fingers crossed. I'll probably be at Dana sometime. Have to finish installing my fishfinder and getting all my gear together. Can't wait to try out my new to me pro angler. First time on a hobie so will probably be more getting used to new boat than fishing. I'll be the one cluelessly trying to get used to my big yellow aircraft carrier

It was pretty thin but the bait was there. I managed 8 or so macs mixed Spanish and greenies throughout the day. Didn't do me much good though, only pulled one small sculpin on live bait. Had decent luck with the jigs with two short hali's and a handful of calicos deep in the kelp.
The launch was pretty rough, this swell is definitely getting the best of lj during high tide. |
