I'd go for La Jolla for sure. I live in Brea, so I share pretty much the same drive, but it's so worth it!

For me ... its simple, I do not like driving far to go fishing, so I stay close to the OC/LA. I would love to fish LJ, but family and work prohibit it.

Some day when my son is done with college LJ will be my homeland ....
