New Kage is BadA$$...

are the grooves supposed to make it stay in the fish?

why this over a hook gaff?

just wondering

Yes the grooves are there to keep the fish from sliding off. The kage is a personal preference for me. I started kayak fishing in Maui so the kage is what I'm most comfortable with. As far as it being a harpoon that's up for interpretation.
