I ended up at REI today and got a Thule 835XT at a steal. BTW they are on the clearance rack along with the 825 and Yakima stackers. 50% off. They are selling the 835xt for $60 and 825 for $45. I ended up getting them for $30 because the girl working the register insisted it was half of of the half off price. I couldn't say no to that

Thanks for the help guys, indirectly it led me to REI. Hopefully I will see some of you out in the water this weekend.
